The US Air Force is facing logistics constraints in its operation in Iran, with concerns raised about the service’s capacity for airlift and aerial refueling. According to experts, the mobility fleet’s limitations could pose a challenge for sustained combat operations, with tankers and airlift being major gaps in combat readiness. The operation, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, has already seen the deployment of over 100 aerial refueling aircraft, and the activation of Guard and Reserve forces.
