United Airlines has started replacing its fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft at its Guam base with the Boeing 737 MAX 8. The first 737 MAX 8 jet joined the Guam base on March 19, 2026, and the airline expects to replace the entire Guam fleet by the end of 2026. The new aircraft will operate select services to Tokyo-Narita International Airport starting April 30, 2026.
