United Airlines Deploys New Narrowbody Aircraft for Pacific Routes
United Airlines has introduced its first 737 MAX 8 jet to its Guam fleet, marking the beginning of a fleet replacement program. The airline plans to replace its entire 737-800 fleet with 737 MAX 8 aircraft by the end of 2026. The new aircraft will operate on select routes, including Tokyo-Narita, Ulaanbaatar, and Koror. United’s Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances, Patrick Quayle, noted the importance of Guam as a key hub in the airline’s Pacific network.
