Thales Introduces Multi-Domain Air and Missile Defense System

Thales has introduced SkyDefender, a multi-domain air and missile defense system designed to protect against a wide range of air threats. The system combines advanced sensors and effectors, including the SkyView command and control system and the cortAIx AI accelerator. SkyDefender is built on an open, modular architecture, allowing for easy integration with existing defenses. The system’s development and deployment are open to partnerships with other industrial players. Thales’ SkyDefender is a response to the US Golden Dome initiative, which aims to create a shield to protect US territory from foreign missile threats.
