Taiwan Carrier Expands Fleet With BOC Aviation Lease Deal

STARLUX Airlines has announced its intention to lease eight Airbus A321neo jets from BOC Aviation, with each aircraft priced at around $81.25 million. The airline’s current fleet includes 13 A321neos, with six more to be delivered, and operates an all-Airbus fleet with A330neos, A350-900s, and A350-1000s. The lease agreement was confirmed by the board of directors on March 10, 2026. STARLUX also recently received its first A350-1000 aircraft and has plans to add more A350-1000s to its fleet, including two with a unique liquid metal livery designed by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama.
