SriLankan Airlines has announced an increase in its daily services from Melbourne Airport to Colombo, adding over 92,000 seats annually. The new flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, utilizing an Airbus A330-300 aircraft. This move comes as travel demand for South Asia continues to soar, with Melbourne Airport recording its busiest February on record for international travel. The airline’s commitment to increasing capacity is seen as a positive step for the airport, which welcomed 996,677 international travelers in February.
