US Space Force Implements Reforms for Weapon System Procurement
The US Space Force has put into place all seven of its mission-focused acquisition portfolios, including offices dedicated to space control and orbital warfare. According to Tom Ainsworth, the top space acquisition officer, the final seven portfolio acquisition executive (PAE) offices are now in place. The new PAEs will implement wide-ranging reforms championed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Breaking Defense reports on this development.
