South Korea has completed the first mass production of its KF-21 Boramae fighter jet, a twin-engine, 4.5-generation multirole aircraft with advanced sensor integration. The aircraft will undergo acceptance testing before being handed over to the Republic of Korea Air Force. The rollout marks a significant milestone in the country’s domestic defense industry, with deliveries expected in the second half of 2026. This achievement comes after years of development and was made possible through a joint project with Indonesia, which contributed $437 million to the program.
