Changi Takes Top Honors Amidst Withdrawal of Hamad International Airport
Singapore Changi Airport has been crowned the world’s best airport at the Skytrax awards, beating out Incheon International Airport and Tokyo Haneda Airport. The airport’s CEO, Yam Kum Weng, received the award on March 18, 2026, at Passenger Terminal EXPO in London. Hamad International Airport withdrew from the competition due to the conflict in the Middle East. The airport won awards for best airport dining, immigration service, and Asia, and was also named the best airport in the 60-70 million passenger category.
