Swiss Manufacturer Expands Presence In Southeast Asia
Pilatus has secured a contract with Indonesia’s Ministry of Defense to provide 12 PC-24 aircraft for air force transport pilot training, air transport, and liaison missions. The agreement includes an option for additional aircraft, as well as ground support equipment, tools, spare parts, training, and technical support. The PC-24’s ability to operate from short and unpaved runways was a key factor in its selection, according to Pilatus. A Letter of Intent has also been signed for the potential supply of 24 PC-21 trainers, highlighting the company’s expanding role in government aviation. The deal was first reported by AeroTime.
