Navi AI Expands Pilot Training with $6 Million in Funding
Navi AI has launched a pilot training platform with $6 million in funding, expanding its AI-powered training capabilities to US flight schools and the military. The platform connects cockpit audio, aircraft telemetry, and other inputs to produce detailed post-flight debriefs, aiming to make aviation training more proactive. Navi AI has partnered with flight schools and the US Air Force Test Pilot School at Edwards Air Force Base. The company was founded in 2024 and trained its platform on over 100,000 real flight hours. The platform is already commercially operational and deploying in spring 2026. The investment was led by United Airlines Ventures, BVVC, New Vista Capital, Raptor Group, and I2BF, with a $1.27 million SBIR Phase II contract from the US Department of War. Navi AI Chief Executive Officer Nikola Kostic said the aim is to make aviation training more proactive by analyzing routine flights, not just incidents. Navi AI’s technology is already in use or under evaluation at several flight schools and institutions, including Sling Pilot Academy, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and the University of North Dakota.
