Malaysia Airlines has taken delivery of its 10th Airbus A330neo, bringing the airline closer to its goal of operating one of the youngest widebody fleets serving Australasia. The aircraft will be deployed on long-haul routes including Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Tokyo, and Bali. According to AeroTime, Malaysia Aviation Group’s parent company, the delivery marks a significant expansion of the fleet strategy, with 40 aircraft expected in total. The A330neo features Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, offering improved fuel efficiency and range. The airline has also introduced an entirely redesigned premium cabin layout on its first four A330neos, featuring songket motifs and ambient lighting.
