German Space Startup Eyes Valuation Near €2 Billion
Munich-based Isar Aerospace is looking to raise an additional €250 million in funding, which could bring the company’s valuation close to €2 billion. The German space startup has already raised close to €600 million from investors, including the NATO Innovation Fund and Airbus Ventures. Isar Aerospace is preparing for the second test launch of its Spectrum rocket, slated for late March 2026, after a maiden flight in March 2025. The company’s progress comes as Europe seeks to develop an independent industrial space ecosystem, with Isar Aerospace being touted as one of the continent’s best hopes.
