Dublin-Based Lessor Enters Freight Market with Major Acquisition

IAT Leasing has acquired 10 Airbus A330F aircraft leased to Amazon Air as part of a new acquisition. The Dublin-based lessor will provide ongoing lease administration and asset management services for the fleet. According to IAT Leasing CEO Martin Browne, this is a ’transformative transaction’ that positions the company as a major lessor of freighter aircraft globally. Blue Owl Capital’s Managing Director Daniel Rosato praised the acquisition, stating it represents an attractive expansion into the freighter market.
