Brazilian Carrier Expands Fleet with Wide-Body Jets Amid Long-Haul Strategy
Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes plans to introduce up to five Airbus A330-900 wide-body aircraft as part of its fleet expansion strategy. The airline’s parent company Abra Group has ordered seven A330neo jets, with two allocated to Colombian carrier Avianca. Wamos Air will provide ACMI capacity to support Gol’s international operations. According to AeroTime, the introduction marks a significant step in Gol’s long-haul development, allowing it to strengthen connectivity between Latin America, North America, and Europe.
