Enhanced Performance Program Boosts Gripen C/D Fleet Capabilities
GKN Aerospace has delivered the first upgraded RM12 engine to the Swedish Armed Forces as part of the RM12EP program, aimed at improving the performance and long-term supportability of Sweden’s Gripen C/D fleet. The SEK 400 million effort involves GKN, Saab, and GE Aerospace, with targets including increased thrust, improved endurance, and lower lifecycle costs.
