France Deploys Rafale Jets to Counter Iranian Drone Threats
French Rafale fighter jets have been deployed to the UAE to counter Iranian drone threats. The jets have neutralized around 60 drones, but the pace of operations has depleted French stocks of MICA air-to-air missiles faster than expected. The UAE has also been hit by a surge in drone attacks, with 1,600 drones intercepted since the start of the attacks. The French Ministry of Armed Forces is testing lower-cost options to develop more proportionate responses to the threat. This development was first reported by La Tribune.
