Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost Mission 1 team has been selected to receive the 2025 Robert J. Collier Trophy for completing what the National Aeronautic Association called the first fully successful commercial lunar landing and operating multiple NASA payloads on the Moon. The formal presentation will take place in Washington in June, according to AeroTime reports. Firefly’s achievement marks a significant milestone in the economics and accessibility of cislunar space, as highlighted by NAA Board Chair Jim Albaugh.
