Bell’s Stop-Fold Design Moves Forward In High-Speed VTOL Project
DARPA’s Speed and Runway Independent Technologies (Sprint) project has reached a milestone with Bell’s stop-fold tiltrotor, now designated the X-76. The X-76 is intended to demonstrate high-speed vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) capabilities.
