Developing Vietnam's First Airport Destination with Tourism and Retail
Changi Airports International has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Vietnam’s Sun Group to develop Phu Quoc International Airport into the country’s first ‘airport destination’. The partnership aims to blend aviation infrastructure with tourism, retail, and entertainment, and comes as Vietnam prepares to host the APEC 2027 Summit. With a government-approved master plan in place, Phu Quoc International Airport is expected to welcome global leaders and international visitors, and reach a capacity of 24 million passengers annually.
