Hong Kong Carrier Celebrates Heritage With Unique Art Design
Cathay Pacific has introduced a new 80th anniversary livery on one of its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring a design called ‘Spirit of Hong Kong - 80th Anniversary Edition’. The livery, created in collaboration with the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, aims to celebrate the airline’s heritage and promote Hong Kong’s arts and culture. The aircraft, registered B-KQU, resumed commercial service on March 9, 2026, following an unveiling ceremony at Hong Kong International Airport. According to AeroTime, the project is part of Cathay Pacific’s ‘80 Years Together’ anniversary celebrations.
