French Carrier Supports Gender Equality With UN Delegation Flight

To mark International Women’s Day, Air France operated a special flight carrying France’s official delegation to the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York. The flight, crewed predominantly by women, including both pilots, underscored the airline’s commitment to gender equality. Air France actively supports various initiatives aimed at combating sexism and promoting female leadership, aligning with the themes of the UN CSW. The airline has seen positive results from its internal efforts, with women now making up 17.5% of aircraft maintenance roles and 34.6% of managerial positions.
