Low-Cost Carrier Receives First Of 45 Refurbished Jets
Air Canada has transferred the first of 45 upgraded Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets to its subsidiary low-cost leisure carrier Air Canada Rouge, as part of a major fleet shakeup. The refurbished aircraft features personal seatback entertainment, reclining seats, and free Wi-Fi. Air Canada Rouge will solely operate MAX jets once the transition is complete, with the airline’s aging A319s set to be retired. The move is part of Air Canada’s efforts to deliver a more comfortable and consistent onboard experience, as reported by AeroTime.
