Kazakhstan Flag Carrier Expands Fleet With Largest Airbus Order

Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s flag carrier, has placed an order for 25 A320neo family aircraft with Airbus, marking its largest ever order with the European manufacturer. The order includes five A320neo and 20 A321neo aircraft, which will be deployed with both Air Astana and its low-cost subsidiary FlyArystan as part of the overall fleet expansion and renewal. This agreement was made on the 20th anniversary of Air Astana’s first A320 operation in 2006. According to AeroTime, the order further validates the economics and market appeal of the A320neo Family in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.
