Global Competition Tests Robots On Real Tasks And Benchmarks
AGIBOT Innovation Technology Co. recently hosted the AGIBOT World Challenge 2026, a global competition that brought together 526 research and enterprise teams from 27 countries to test and evaluate embodied AI models on real tasks and benchmarks. The challenge, which was held alongside ICRA 2026 in Vienna, featured two tracks: ‘Reasoning to Action’ and ‘World Model.’ The competition aimed to provide a more practical and reproducible evaluation framework for embodied AI, with a focus on real-robot validation and standardized metrics. According to The Robot Report, the challenge drew teams from leading institutions and companies, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vivo.
