Aerospace Pioneers Recognized for Groundbreaking Technologies
The National Aeronautic Association has announced the finalists for the 2025 Robert J. Collier Trophy, recognizing groundbreaking technologies in US aerospace. Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost Mission 1 and Boom Supersonic’s XB-1 demonstrator are among the nominees. The selection may signal a shift toward private sector innovation in advancing US aerospace capabilities. According to AeroTime, the nominees span both civil and military aviation, as well as space. The winner will be selected March 12, 2026, with a formal presentation scheduled for June.
