Saudi Arabia Weighs Participation In Next Generation Program

Turkish Aerospace is awaiting a decision from Saudi Arabia on potential participation in the next-generation KAAN fighter program, with a possible sale of 20 planes or shared production on the table. The program aims to achieve sixth-generation capabilities, with Turkish Aerospace hoping to reach a milestone this year. According to Mehmet Demiroglu, the firm’s general manager, the decision may come in 2026. This development was reported by Breaking Defense during the World Defense Show 2026.
