Singapore Company Debuts Advanced Armored Vehicle At Airshow

ST Engineering has unveiled a new hybrid electric version of its Terrex s5 armored vehicle at the Singapore Airshow, featuring a downsized internal combustion engine and electric motors. The Terrex s5 HED can generate significantly more electric power to support auxiliary systems, and has a payload capacity of 13 tons. The vehicle is part of a broader trend towards more advanced, digitalized military systems, and follows a recent contract award from Singapore’s Ministry of Defence for an undisclosed number of Terrex s5 IFVs.
