Scandinavian Carrier Considers Boeing And Airbus Options
SAS Scandinavia Airlines is in discussions with Boeing and Airbus regarding a potential order for widebody jets, with the A350 and 777X among the options. The airline’s CEO, Anko van der Werff, has hinted at a large order to meet increasing demand for long-haul travel. SAS recently expanded its intercontinental offering with three new routes and announced the arrival of two new A350s, which will increase capacity across key destinations. The airline also ordered up to 55 Embraer E-195 E2 aircraft in July 2025. This development was reported by AeroTime.
