Low-Cost Carrier Expands In-House Maintenance Capabilities
Ryanair has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CFM International to supply engine MRO services for its growing fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft. The multi-year, multi-billion-dollar contract will see CFM provide engine spare parts and support Ryanair’s in-house engine maintenance program. The agreement is part of Ryanair’s plans to open two in-house engine MRO shops in Europe from 2029, allowing the airline to take over engine maintenance from CFM. The deal was reported by AeroTime.
