Raytheon and Pentagon Agree on Framework for Munitions Production
RTX has signed a plan with the Pentagon to ramp up production of five munitions, including Tomahawk cruise missiles and AMRAAMs. Under the framework agreements, RTX will increase annual production targets for these items, as well as accelerate production of other munitions. The deals may signal a positive shift in the relationship between Raytheon and the Trump administration, Breaking Defense reports. According to RTX CEO Chris Calio, the agreements redefine how government and industry can partner to speed the delivery of critical technologies.
