Small Firm Connects Disparate Systems With AI-Driven Translator Software
Picogrid, a software company, has been awarded a $9.3 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract to integrate disparate counter-drone defenses at selected Air Force bases using AI-driven translator software. The company’s Legion software connects incompatible military systems, reducing integration time from weeks to under a day. This development follows Picogrid’s successful integration of five different sensors into a coherent drone-detection system for a 1st Cavalry Division unit. The contract was announced by Breaking Defense.
