Marines Aim to Be CJACD2 'Fast Follower' with Dynamis Series of C2 Experiments

Marine Corps Accelerates Command and Control Modernization Amid Joint Efforts

The Marine Corps has unveiled new details about its ongoing Dynamis Series, a technology accelerator sprint project aimed at modernizing its command and control architecture. Col. Arlon Smith, director of Project Dynamis, said the program is designed to take advantage of the peace time to build something inherently joint. The series involves multiple events with increasing complexity, including Serial 001, which demonstrated large-scale common data transport, and Serial 003, which focused on integrating software and hardware capabilities. The Marine Corps plans to scale some of the capabilities built by other services, such as the Army’s Next Generation Command and Control. Breaking Defense reports.
