Lockheed Martin has partnered with Saudi Arabia’s ERAF to explore the development of a combat vehicle-mounted unmanned turret, which could be produced in the kingdom. The turret, currently under development in the UK, features a 20 mm cannon, a Javelin missile launcher, and an electrooptical system. According to Tim Cahill, president of fire and missile control at Lockheed, the system could contribute to SHORAD and situational awareness.
