Italian Firm Expands Saudi Ties with Advanced Maritime Capabilities
Italian aerospace and defense firm Leonardo has secured a contract to supply Saudi Arabia with four C-27J Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA), with deliveries set to commence in 2029. The C-27J MPA boasts advanced maritime surveillance and weapon system integration capabilities, enabling it to counter multiple threats and perform a range of missions, including Search and Rescue (SAR) services and transport tasks.
