Kodiak AI Lands Marine Corps Deal for Autonomous Tech Integration

Marine Corps Awards Contract for Autonomy in ROGUE Fires Platform

The US Marine Corps has awarded Kodiak AI a contract to integrate its autonomous driving system into the ROGUE Fires platform, which consists of mounting the Navy Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System onto Joint Light Tactical Vehicles. This deal comes after Forterra was awarded a similar contract in January 2025. Kodiak’s technology is expected to enhance the service’s Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary (ROGUE) Fires platform, but the value of the contract remains unclear. Breaking Defense reports that Congress previously invested $59 million for autonomy kits for the program and the Army awarded Kodiak a similar contract in 2022 for its Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) program.
