National Champions Unite To Develop Autonomous Aircraft Capabilities

Germany’s Helsing and HENSOLDT are joining forces to develop AI-enabled combat air systems by upgrading Helsing’s CA-1 autonomous aircraft. The partnership will integrate HENSOLDT’s sensor technologies and software suite with Helsing’s AI agent Centaur, enabling autonomous mission execution and secure information processing. The CA-1, unveiled in September, is expected to be operational within four years. This development was reported by Breaking Defense.
