Airspace Security Company Lands Multimillion Dollar DHS Contract
Fortem Technologies has been awarded a multimillion-dollar contract by the Department of Homeland Security to protect the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in the US from hostile drones. The company will provide its DroneHunter counter-drone systems at 11 World Cup venues, along with non-kinetic counter-drone technology. This effort is part of a larger DHS investment in counter-drone tech to secure American airspace, including events commemorating the country’s 250th birthday.
