Chinese Manufacturer Expands Emergency Services Capabilities
The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has secured an agreement for up to six firefighting variants of the C909 aircraft at the Singapore Airshow 2026. The deal, signed with Shanxi Victory General Aviation, includes a letter of intent for three aircraft with an option for three more. The C909 firefighter can carry significant payloads and has received certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
