Canadian Aerospace Giant Boosts MRO Capabilities in America

Bombardier has expanded its presence in the US with the acquisition of Velocity Maintenance Solutions, a provider of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) services. Velocity operates a 35,000 sq. ft. hangar at Wilmington Airport and 14 mobile repair trucks across the US. The acquisition, which includes the Velocity team, hangar, and mobile response trucks, is part of Bombardier’s commitment to elevate its service standards. The deal was completed through Bombardier’s US subsidiary, Learjet Inc, as reported by AeroTime.
