Japan Airlines Partners with Boeing for Enhanced Cabin Experience
At the Singapore Airshow 2026, Japan Airlines (JAL) has partnered with Boeing to upgrade its 787-9 fleet with new interiors and in-flight Wi-Fi. The upgrades will feature new seats, cabin furniture, and other design elements, as well as enhanced connectivity through newer satellite networks. According to Boeing, it will supply part kits and engineering assistance for the interior upgrades, while providing additional provisions and parts for the upgraded in-flight connectivity system. Breaking Defense reports that this initiative reinforces JAL’s commitment to delivering a premium experience on core international routes.
