Battle-Hardened 787-8 Completes 16 Years Of Service
Boeing’s last 787-8 Dreamliner test aircraft, ZA004, has completed its 16-year service, performing over 670 test flights and 2,250 flight hours. The aircraft, registered N7874, arrived at Marana Pinal Airport in Arizona, where it will be used for training and research. ZA004 played a crucial role in establishing the performance, safety, and maintenance standards for the 787 program, supporting certification of all Rolls-Royce 787 engine variants and testing over 25 new technologies as Boeing’s second ecoDemonstrator.
