Austal USA President Michelle Kruger will step down from her position on June 1, the company announced. Kruger, who has been president since April 2024, will remain with the company as President Emeritus and continue to serve as a valued advisor and ambassador. Eugene Miller, currently the chief operating officer, will take on the role of interim president and is being considered for the permanent position. Chris Chadwick, chairman of Austal USA’s board of managers, will also assume responsibilities as executive chairman.
