Turkish Defense Giant Expands Export Contracts And Research Spending
Turkish defense electronics giant Aselsan announced a 15% increase in revenue to $4.11 billion in 2025, driven by a surge in new export contracts and research spending. The company secured over $2 billion in new export contracts, marking a 104% increase from the previous year, and spent $1.36 billion on research and development, a 40% increase from last year. Aselsan’s backlog also increased by 46% to $20.4 billion. The growth comes as the company focuses on exporting air defense systems and investing in Turkey’s Steel Dome missile defense shield architecture. This was reported by Breaking Defense.
