New Division To Receive Full Stack Capability In Fiscal 2027

The US Army has budgeted for the first division to receive the production full stack Next Generation Command and Control ecosystem in fiscal 2027, according to officials. The new division, which has yet to be revealed, joins the 4th Infantry Division and the 25th Infantry Division, which are prototyping different aspects of NGC2. The Army aims to achieve 60-70% commonality between divisions, with 30-40% customization. The NGC2 budget is expected to continue growing, with a 20% increase from FY25 to FY26.
