European Manufacturer Aims For Record High Deliveries Amid Engine Supply Challenges
Airbus is aiming to achieve pre-pandemic delivery levels in 2026, with a target of around 870 commercial aircraft deliveries. Despite this record high prediction, the company’s guidance is negatively impacted by engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney’s failure to commit to the number of engines ordered. Airbus reported a strong 2025, with revenues rising 6% year-on-year to $86.6 billion and EBIT Adjusted increasing to $8.3 billion. The company is targeting $8.8 billion in EBIT Adjusted for 2026.
