Airline Grounds Boeing 787-8 Amid Fuel Control Switch Issue
Air India has grounded a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner after a pilot reported a possible defect in the fuel control switch on a London-bound flight. The aircraft was operating as Air India Flight AI132 from London Heathrow to Bengaluru when the issue was observed, Breaking Defense reports. According to airline sources, the problem was reported by the flight crew after landing and subsequently informed India’s aviation regulator. Following the incident, Air India has grounded the aircraft as a precaution and is involving Boeing to address the pilot’s concerns on a priority basis.
