Munich Airport Ground Staff Strike Causes Flight Delays and Disruptions

Passengers on several outbound flights were forced to spend the night onboard aircraft at Munich Airport due to a ground staff strike. The airport had closed, and bus drivers had already gone home when their departures were cancelled. The flight LH2446 was delayed multiple times before being unable to take off within its slotted time window. Passengers remained on the plane until early in the morning when ground services resumed. According to AeroTime, this incident affected around 500 passengers across four flights operated by Lufthansa and Air Dolomiti.
