Australian Carrier Expands Network with New Bali Route Amid Growing Demand

Virgin Australia is launching its first-ever international service from Canberra with direct flights to Bali starting June 22, 2026. The airline will operate three weekly return flights using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, adding over 40,000 seats annually between the two cities. Flights went on sale in January 2026, and the service is expected to run seasonally from April through January 2027. Virgin Australia said it may increase frequency during busy periods.
