Abu Dhabi Exhibition Sees EDGE Group Secure Multiple Contracts

The Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and Simulation and Training Exhibition (SIMTEX) in Abu Dhabi concluded with the UAE signing $342 million in defense deals with local companies. The Tawazun Council for Defense Enablement announced that EDGE Group, a leading UAE defense company, secured two contracts for the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and the purchase of the Tracked RCV & THEMIS system. Additional contracts were signed with EDGE subsidiaries for the procurement of rotary-wing UASs and remote-controlled weapons. The deals were reported by Breaking Defense.
